I would imagine that full Eyefinity support is a given but any word on if I should invest in 3D monitors for my Sapphire?

I would very much doubt it would be added unless the engine supports it right out of the box. There are to many other things to worry about.

Alas my friend ;) we are the few...

I think the best we can look forward to is a screwed up UI that will not scale properly. I don't doubt we can run eyfinity - havent found a game that wouldn't run it at all - unless they force you to 1 screen like some RTS because it would be unfair.

We just have to go with the Razer artemis so the ui will be on the small LCD on the controller!!!! YEAH! :D then we can just turn all that crap off on the monitors.

I don't think they will support changeable FOV on a PVP based multiplayer online game. If the FOV is fixed, no point on Eyefinity.

I've been doing some reading on CryENGINE3. It would appear to be the engine to use and capable of 3D and scaling for Eyefinity.

Soooo.. I guess it entirely depends on whether Piranha has the resources or chooses to employ these features.

The real question is will nvidia and ATi create crossfire/SLI profiles for the game and if they will bother with multi monitor and 3d support. And even then, given the insane performance hit's they put on games, if you feeling like shelling out for a multi gpu rig?

I run eyefinity and I can think of no better games to support this technology than a sim such as this. But I agree the lack of support from developers has slowly been kicking its *** to the curb (eyefinity and nvidias multi-screen).

I also run crossfire-x (three o/c'd 6950's) so I typically add not only eyefinity's woes but crossfire-x's as well. I think it would be amazing to see the cockpit rendered correctly across three lcd's providing me with that extra bit of immersion that is lacking in a lot of games lately (I cant use my setup in tribes (incorrect scaling), Diablo 3 (no support), etc.

I havent seen anything as of yet either, nVidia is working with the team, so I am hoping something good will come out from the team about multi-monitor support.

Will give me a reason to upgrade from tri-fire overclocked 6950's to maybe an sli-gtx680 :0

I heard that the Crysis engine doesn't do 3D very well. I don't have much in the way of details, but I was told by a friend that it's sort of like the difference between movies shot in 3d from the start and others that add it in after the fact in post-processing. Apparently the cry-engine is a bit more like the post-processing method. This is all second-hand info for me though so if somebody with more graphics knowledge could confirm this it would be nice!

Have to admit that I'm hoping Eyefinity and similar other widescreen setups are supported...

I'm 5760 x 1200 on 3 x 24" monitors...

If there is a seperate screen in the Razar setup, does that mean that it might be possible to shift instruments to another screen?

I run a seperate 16" mini monitor as well as the eyefinity three... and my controls are already as good as I need.

Nope, all are DVI still. I have a separate video card to run the 16".
